Ontology Assets

Ontology is an open source public chain project with primary focus on decentralized digital identity and assets. ONT and ONG are the two native tokens on Ontology that are implementations of the OEP-4 token protocol. ONT is a staking tool that acts as a store of value and can be used to perform financial transactions and can be used in dApps. ONG is the gas token that is used to pay the transaction fees on the Ontology chain. ONT and ONG have been decoupled in order to alleviate the risk of turbulent fluctuations in transaction fees due to changes in the value of the staking asset.
