# Identity Mode

### Switch to Identity Mode

* Open ONTO App, click "**Profile**".
* Click "**Settings**".
* Tap on the **on-off button** on the right of "**Identity Mode**".

### View OScore

* OScore is used to evaluate the asset level of the ONT ID.
* Click to open **OScore** page to view details of assets from the multi-chain wallet and exchanges that have been taken into account to calculate the OScore for this ONT ID.

### Identity Authentication

* Click "**View**" to open the corresponding page of authentication.
* CFCA (China Financial Certification Authority) is a national-level authoritative safety certification organization approved by the People's Bank of China and the National Information Security Administration.
* Plaid is focused on democratizing financial services via technology. Plaid started out by building the technical infrastructure APIs that connect consumers, traditional financial institutions, and developers.

### Social Authentication

* Click icon to open the corresponding page of authentication.
* Mobile is taken as an example here. Enter the mobile number and the verification code to authenticate.

* Click "**Authority ID**" and then click "**Confirm**" in the pop-up window to bind your mobile number.
* After binding the mobile, other ONTO users can send Ontology assets directly to your mobile number instead of Ontology address.

* When you receive a transaction via binded mobile number, you will receive a notification in ONTO as well as a SMS.
* Click "**Confirm**" to enter Notification center, then click "**General**", then click to confirm the **transaction**.

### Scan QR Code

* Click the scan icon to scan ONT ID supported QR codes to log in, sign a message or add a contact.
* To successfully use the scan function, the permission settings of your phone should be set to allow ONTO with the access to camera.

### Add Contacts

* On "**Contacts**" page, you can click the icon at the upper right corner to send a friend request.
* When you receive a friend request, click "Confirm", select authorization methods and then click "Confirm" in the pop-up window.

* After adding a contact, you can click the name of the contact to view and manage shared credential.

### Backup

* Data of your Identity, Social and Credentials are all stored offline and locally in your phone.  
* You can click the profile icon at the upper left corner to backup online and then can import from online.

### Manage ONT ID and Credentials

* Click the "**≡**" icon at the upper right corner.
* You can click "**Manage ONT ID**" to open Manage ONT ID page where you can create, backup, delete or switch ONT ID.
* You can click "**Credentials**" to open Credentials page where you can manage your own identity credentials in a DID authentication system.

### Back to Asset Mode

* Click "**Back to Asset Mode**" to switch back to asset mode.
